Hi guys, today I am going to show you how you can connect your Samsung Galaxy to the TV. In my guide, I want to show you how to do that by using a physical cable.
In our past article, we explained how to stream a video from an Android phone to a Tv (here is the link). In this article, I will explain what you need to make this connection without using a streaming service.
What you need is an adapter that can connect to your USB-C port and exit with an HDMI port. There are several adapters on the market. The one that I bought it cost about 50 dollars (so it can get pricey).
Why to buy it?
Good question. In my case, I wanted to buy this adapter because I had some issues with the screen mirroring from my Samsung Galaxy S9 to my Philips Tv.
I installed a nice SNES emulator on my Android, I bought a Bluetooth joystick. The final step was to connect to the TV to play my SNES’s Donkey Kong sitting on the sofa 🙂
Of course, gaming is not the only option to use it. In the end, I found it super easy to use and also very useful on other occasions. You can easily pack it in your trolley when you go on holiday and use it in your hotel room to watch videos from your phone. This very useful when you don’t know if you’re going to be able to use Internet Services during your stay.
